- Thank you both for your encouraging words! I decided to do a last minute one after reading your comments - I don't think I'd have tried another one otherwise. No time for a fourth but would like to tackle the whole book for my own satisfaction this summer, just for fun.

- This picture reminds me of a Dr. Seuss book. It has bright colors and loads of imagination, just perfect for the young readers. I would love to see the whole story in its completness in this fashion.

- I think children would enjoy your style - it has clarity and simplicity. Good idea to show the sheepdog's head in this way - gives an interesting depth to the painting as we peep over his shoulder, while also making it unnecessary to paint the dog's features! Are you planning on doing another page? I'd be interested in seeing more. Ros
