Favorite Acrylics
- The most brilliant acrylic colors, are Primacryl Schmincke. Brera (Maimeri) are very good too.

Golden
- I started first used Liquitex in 1964, when first discovering acrylics. For the last 22 yrs, I have used Golden ever since I went to a workshop at a art store in nearby city. I love their mediums! I love their variety of paint bodies. I will run down to the shop in town and get whatever color I've run out of in Liqutex in a pinch. Golden customer service is great and there is a vast amount of great info available from them!

Another Bote for Daniel Smith
- I use both Utrecht & Daniel Smith paints in my work. While Utrecht paints are a great value, I favor Daniel Smith for the reasons mentioned by the first poster, especially in terms of color saturation. There's a Utrecht store in my area, so if I need something in a hurry, I use their paints as a good quality alternative. However, if I can wait (and I usually can), I order online from DS.

Favorite Acrylic Brand Paints
- I prefer Daniel Smith Acrylic paints due to the fact that there are no fillers, just pure pigment, I get full saturation never any dull colors, they mix well and don't need sealing. They dry to a high gloss and thick enough to get great texture or smooth with a little water thinning.

DecoArt
- In the past 30 years, I have used DecoArt in most of my artwork. The colors are bright and have a great consistency.

Acrylic Favorites
- I use Sennelier, Liquitex, Galeria and some Blick Artists Acrylic for the underpainting and beginning of the painting. I do this with some of my works in oil and oil pastel too. When After I've laid down the basic composition if I don't need to blend a lot I finish with Sennelier Acrylique, Winsor & Newton, Liquitex, Golden Heavy Body. If I want to do a lot of blending I use M. Graham and Golden Open. M. Graham, Golden, Sennelier, Winsor & Newton are my favorites in that order.

Liquitex Devotee
- I've been painting with Liquitex since high school 38 years ago. (Yikes!) I've used other brands but always prefer Liquitex because they are consistent in color, flow and overall quality. I also use inexpensive Liquitex Basics because they are a bit thinner and are great for blending large canvases. A mentor once said that to you have to know the medium to master it, although you have to work smarter to make lesser-quality materials do your bidding.

Golden Open Acrylics
- I paint in oils, gouache, watercolor, and pastels but my top pick is the Golden Open Acrylics with their extended drying time.
