Reader Submissions: Painting Project: Still Life with Two Objects

This painting project's challenge is to paint a still life with two objects, from the actual objects (not a photo of them), in a style of your choosing. The objects must be a wine bottle (of any color, empty or full, with or without a label) and a single piece of fruit (including fruit generally regarded as vegetables in cooking, such as a tomato).

The challenges lies in your choice of composition. Think about how to position the two objects to make a striking composition, consider the negative space, the shadows, the tones in the background.
