Reader Submissions: Painting Project: Love Symbolism for Valentine's

This challenge of painting project is to create a romantic painting or card to give to someone you love. It might include some love symbolism, though whether you choose symbols your beloved will recognize or not is up to you. Or some flowers with symbolism, such as red roses for love or a yellow rose for jealousy. For inspiration, browse through the gallery of completed Valentine's.

Status: Open to submissions. If you don't get your painting done in time for Valentine's this year, you can always use it for next year! Choice of subject, medium, and size is up to you.
