Artist's Statement
Another Valentine for my wife. I put in a secret message but it does not show in the photo. The blue surrounding the heart represents the sadness of losing her. She did really capture my heart so there is the key. At the same time I did not want it to be dark or somber so I used Winsor-Newton Artists' Acrylic Naphthol Red Medium, which I like a lot for the heart.
What I'd Do Differently
- I would use some tape to make the edges of the blue stripes sharper.
