Title and Medium
Title of this painting is "Expression of Love". I have used watercolours on handmade paper to paint this one. Watercolours are soft and subtle just like love. Size of this painting is 12x10" and I have used scarlet red, burnt sienna, sap green, cobalt blue.
Artist's Statement
I want to gift this painting to someone whom I love the most. Roses are the best to communicate our love so I painted them. Whenever I see beautiful roses, I fall in love with them again and again so there was nothing better for me to show my love through them. I have painted two roses as I wanted to express my feelings of being together always like these roses. It took me lots of time and patience to paint this one to get the effect I wanted. This is for you my love, with lots of love.
What I'd Do Differently
- I would like to give roses more of red colour as red defines love. I liked the way roses have come out and I am happy with the results though it may not be the perfect painting. I am sure my love will like it and that is the most important thing for me.
