Artist's Statement
This painting is expressive of how feel when I'm out in the world and maybe even how I want to appear...mysterious and observant. Sometime during the process I thought it was too dark, then at times not dark enough...when I look at it now, it kinda makes me sad...but then, this is only one side of me.
What I'd Do Differently
- I would put in more contrast in the whole painting... and highlight a the facial features a little more?
