Artist's Statement
Looking around for give things to put in a mini still life, I got no further than my art table. After drawing in the silhouettes I decided I needed smaller brushes, magnifying glasses and maybe a different idea. Then it became a challenge and I had to finish.
The Rotring art pen is the only item I'm not happy about. It's too wide. Not because of the drawing but the size 6 brush.
This was a fun learning experience.
What I'd Do Differently
- I'd probably pick organic items instead (without labels and fine print) but if I were to do this one again, I'd overlap a few tools... like they were dropped or pushed aside.
