Why This Painting is My Favorite from 2012
Every time I paint a picture I fall in love with it. However, I still have to choose one of my favourite. I think, this is the best of all. It is my daughter's portrait. I started this portrait to learn how to paint the light that glows. I love the reflected sunlight which glow the shadow side of her face in this picture. It is now hanging on my sitting room wall. Whenever I look at it, it gives me an inspiration to start a new painting.
Lessons Learned
- I am very happy with this painting, only I think pencil line should be much lighter.
