What's on My Easel
Just got done painting a wolf picture I named Snow Wolf. It is a oil painting done in black & white which is a challenge to keep the colors pure. It is a wet on wet technique done on a 18x24" canvas.
What I'm Doing
I enjoy painting animals and getting the fur technique down. I have ruined a couple of floral brushes painting other animal paintings, but they work well. For the short time I have been painting with oils, I am getting my own technique down.
I hope to take some formal classes which would help me with technique and color blending.
Advice
- I am not very good at duplicating an object or picture so I normally go off on my own when I start painting anything. My sister and I can paint the same flower and they will turn out very differently.
