What's on My Easel
Here is what is on my table easel right now. I am working on a miniature 6" x 6" canvas and oil of a lobster from a New England reference photo from my recent trip.
What I'm Doing
This canvas will be part of a holiday artist party gift exchange. The palette is part from the lobster, part left overs from the still life I just completed.
This is a very abbreviated temporary set up on my dining room table -- with Thanksgiving coming in a week, this will all go away! I am a wandering artist with no permanent studio home, so I sent up where there is a clear opportunity to work!
Advice
- To anyone contemplating buying this "cute" cheap, pink tabletop easel; I do not recommend it. It's flimsy and unstable, and a part broke off within the first hour I owned it.
