What I Used for This Painting
I used oil on canvas and the size is 18x24". In the second painting I used oil on 11x14".
Why This Painting is My Favorite
I love this painting because it is so full of color, very vibrant and alive to me. I still have this painting and will probably keep it. I remember the greens used in this painting being so bright and the combination of greens and oranges to complete the overall look that I was trying to achieve.
Lessons Learned
- I learned that I could still paint after not painting anything for about a year. It reminds me to not stop trying, even if I have to trash it and start over, it can always be fixed.
