Size of My Studio
My studio is very small but it works for me. This little corner of my house is used only for my art and it does not have natural lighting. I use special light bulbs to create natural light spectrums. I didn't tidy up, so you can see my chaos at its best!
I'm currently working on an American bald eagle to be displayed in a tax attorney's lobby area.
I'd like to have an art studio in Italy as large as Jerry Fresia's, but my passion for art is not hindered by my tiny work space. It's mine and I love it!
How I Organize My Studio
My studio right now is not organized at all. I just recently began painting again, its been over ten years since I've picked up a brush.
I love the PVC pipe idea and will be making my own in a few days to organize my paint tubes and pencils, awesome idea!
Advice
- I feel that an art studio is the haven for any creative person. My advice would be to make it functional but yet decorative. Surround yourself with your favorite objects, get very good lighting, make sure its comfy (sometimes I spend hours at my paintings), and of course organize your tools of trade so they are quick to grab when you need them.
