Watch and listen artist Danny Gregory (of Everyday Matters www.dannygregory.com fame) as he paints a Los Angeles landscape in pen and watercolor. It's the view from his hotel window, which may not seem the most inspiring of scene, but you'll be pleasantly surprised. The action unfolds as a pleasant pace, fast enough not to be boring but slow enough to be able to see how he works, such as mixing colors on his watercolor palette and on the watercolor paper itself. Look out for he uses a complementary color (purple) in the shadows to give added intensity to the yellow, almost as a final touch to the painting. (Skip the last two minutes unless you really want to hear about his problems making the video.)
