Watercolor Painting Video: How to Paint Winter Trees

Learn how to paint winter trees (without hardly any leaves, mainly bare branches) for a landscape painting. Just three colors are used: cobalt blue, burnt umber, and yellow ocher. The watercolor is painted using a no. 10 round brush and a rigger brush, which is ideal for creating thin branches and twigs.
