From the Artist: This black and white striped armchair is situated in a far corner of the living room where there is not much light. It is hardly ever used, but Tigger has firmly claimed it as her own personal property. We inherited this little cat when our neighbours returned to England a few months ago and as you can see she has made herself quite at home with us!
I did a few preliminary sketches of the chair before painting it - not an easy feat in the midst of all the holiday festivities - but I was determined to finish it in time for the December submission deadline!
From the Painting Guide: Glad you made it by the deadline! Tigger looks as if she'd get a tad annoyed if you even thought about moving her so you could sit on that comfy chair.
