2010: "You Light Up My Heart" by Dottie Riley

From the Artist: I am experimenting with pastels as I hope this will teach me how to avoid extraneous details. I think this image succeeds in conveying hands in the shape of a heart; I just wish I had centered the candle better. Pastels are very difficult for me and learning is a process!
