February 2007 Painting Project: Scribble Painting

Painting the way your eyes track over a subject.

By , About.com Guide

When you study whatever it is that you're about to paint, whether it's a still life, landscape, tree, flower, or figure, your eyes move rapidly across the surface surveying and interpreting it. Scribble painting is about putting this movement of your eyes down on paper.

Read the project instructions, take a look at the Taking a Line for a Walk Right Brain Exercise, browse through the gallery of completed project paintings, then get painting!
