From the Artist: My feelings about this sketch, I just had to do it get it down on paper. It excited me to see the golden rays of sunlight enclosing around the model. While the colours encase and beautified the female body.

From the Painting Guide: I think your colours convey a lovely sense of sunlight streaming in the room, onto and around the model, as well as a warming of the skin of the model. It's a matter of personal style, of course, but I'd be tempted to loose the black outline on the side the sun is striking, to have it only on the shadow side. To have a really soft edge, blending the figure into the background on the sun side.

Things to Consider When Looking at This Painting:
Figure Proportions: Watch out for the size of the head compared to the rest of the figure; like hands and feet, it's surprisingly large. Check the width of the head against the width of the shoulders, and the height of the head against the height of the body (I usually measure the body in terms of number of heads that fit into it).
