From the Artist: This is my second submission for January. I told you liked the limited palette. Thanks for the projects, they're wonderful exercises in between other paintings I've go going on. And the forum, is great.

This submission is a really small watercolor of the things I use. The white is the paper. I think I may have cheated a little on this... some new gamboge notes have very little cadmium red, and, thus, are very yellow.

From the Painting Guide: Yes, indeed, for this project that is cheating as you're not using your "orange" as a single color but using its constituent colors in varying proportions. But I've put it into the gallery as it's still only three pigments and the resulting colors are lovely.
