From the Artist: For a long time I couldn't find a necessary solution for the end of this painting. I have tried to make the clouds easy and transparent. Maybe I will add else something. Sometimes I find something in my abstract painting and add it to another of my paintings, and sometimes the other way round.
From the Painting Guide: What I'd like to see is a hint of pink on the very underbellies of the clouds and a flash of pink across the horizon line as the sun slowly sinks which would give a balance between the russet tones of the foreground and the coolness of the sky. Alternatively, I'd be tempted to crop the painting into a strong landscape shape so that the foreground dominates, like this.
