From the Artist: This is from a photo that I took in the Temple Bar area of Dublin, Ireland. While the "dancing man" is the center of attention, for the project I try to show the stark contrast between light and dark, the hard angles of the shadows and the use of complementary colors.
From the Painting Guide: I know it's an abstraction, but had you noticed the top and bottom edges of your buildings aren't parallel with the pavement? I prefer the steeper angle on the building -- together with the angle of the shadow it creates a dynamic feel, rather than being static and tied to the edge of the board.
