For Ann #1 Succulent by Frances Tanner

From the Artist: This painting is the first in a series of four small paintings a co-worker commissioned me to paint. The paintings are all close-ups of things from nature she loves. Fall leaves, blue mussel shells from the beach, peeling madrona tree bark and this one of a succulent plant. She has been a steadfast cheerleader where my art work is concerned.
