The paints I used were Winsor and Newton Galeria Flow-formula acrylics, which are very liquid or fluid and ideal for covering large areas. They're also a cheaper range of paints, so I don't feel inhibited about using them liberally on a larger canvas.
My palette consisted of cerulean blue hue, ultramarine, burnt umber, Paynes gray, and cadmium yellow deep hue.
To get to this stage in the cityscape, I've used some of the burnt umber to block in the buildings, and dabbled some of this, the cerulean blue, and cadmium yellow deep in what will be the watery reflections at the front. I've also lifted some of the paint to allow the red underneath to show through.
The painting is still very loose, really just a placement of tone rather than detail.
