Sketching in the City of Venice, Italy

Sitting and watching the world go by, I made a list of all the different types of boats I saw. Everything that happens by road in a 'normal' city, happens on the water in Venice. From early morning deliveries of fresh milk to postal services to ambulances and police. Delivery of fresh produce and frozen goods. Builders carting away rubble to smartly dressed business executive on their way to a meeting. I even saw two sets of newly weds!
