Sketching in the City of Venice, Italy

These buildings are a small section of the ones from the previous sketch. Here my intention was to look at each in more detail, to sketch the main features I noticed, without getting caught up in getting the perspective perfect. Again, it was an exercise in observation.

The result is made me think of the buildings of the children's author Richard Scarry, though a metaphysical version, without any of his characteristic animals wearing clothes.
