Use a white wax crayon in place of frisket (masking fluid) in watercolor painting to create shine on an object or create movement of water. An oil pastel crayon or a white china-marker are fun to make designs on paper before watercoloring. Oil and water do not mix, so the white stays white. Other colors can be used as desired or as appropriate.
