Oil Painting Tip Dust-free Drying

A helpful tip to add to your painting knowledge.

By Marion Boddy-Evans, About.com

To stop dust getting onto a still-wet oil painting, face it towards a wall so that dust will have less tendency to stick on it. I put a reversed canvas between the wall and the painting to protect the wall. I always have many paintings drying this way and dust is not a problem anymore.
