Helpful tips to add to your painting knowledge.

To store paintings done on paper without framing them, put them in a flat file with glassine paper [glassine is an archival barrier paper]. Fold each piece of artwork into its own glassine slip , then put it into the flatfile. In the case of pastels mat them and put an additional sheet of glassine over the work but under the mat. Then put the entire mat into a glassine slip.
Tip from: Jim

Buy a pad of archival white paper in a size as large or larger than your largest piece, and place your paintings between the blank pages of archival paper. Be sure to avoid humidity when storing.
