If you've ever wondered what it takes to paint a really big canvas, watch this painting video of the Canadian artist Philip Craig at work on a canvas 8x16 feet (2,4x4,8 meters) in size. The subject of the painting is the Ottawa River, it was done using oil paint, and it took around four months to complete. (And if you think the painting is big, imagine how big the house is that it was commissioned for! At the end of the video you see the painting being hung in place.)
