Added May 26 2007 In this painting video Sketch Maiden talks about the issues of fear and control as an artist. How fear of judgment can play a role in an artist's choice of subjects and how you paint. Fear that you won't be accepted as a person because of your art; fear of exposing yourself too much and allowing too much of your private self onto a canvas. But this raw creative energy, if you allow it to grow and not try to control it tightly, will produce something positive. Wanting to control what you're doing in your art, hinders you from showing your true artistic creation. When you're controlling something, you're loosing something. The video rambles a little at times, but stick with it. Are you a video enthusiast, always uploading your latest videos to YouTube? Well, we want to show your stuff!
