The Bottom Line

If you've never face painted before, these DVDs will show you how to paint various designs and should give you the confidence to give it a go. If you're wanting to expand your repertoire, each DVD has eight different full-face designs clearly demonstrated from start to finish.

Guide Review - Halloween Face Painting DVDs by Sharon Neilson

These two face painting DVDs each have demonstrations of eight full-face designs, clearly showing you how each is created from start to finish. If you want to learn to face paint, copying each of these will give you a decent repertoire to start with, and adapt. Some of the designs are simpler than others (for example the pirate) and it's assumed you will know how to paint basic lines, curls and dots. If you're totally new to face painting, start with the chapter that explains how to control a brush and get different shapes with it.
