Corel Painter 9 Tutorial: Watercolor Filter Options

The KPT Pyramid Paint effect pop-up box that appears is quite different to a Corel Painter 9 screen, but don't be put off by it. There are two parts you need, shown in this photo.

The box/menu on the top left is where you can play with the effects (such as saturation, contrast, and hue), which will be previewed in the box to the right.

When you're happy with what you see, click on the check mark in the bottom right-hand corner. When the effect window closes, you'll be back in a 'normal' Painter 9 screen, with the photo now looking like a watercolour.

The final step is to combine the sketch and the watercolor together.
