This photo shows the result of the Marbling Effect option on the same bands of color used for the Marbling Rake. It's been applied only to pre-selected part of the image, rather than the whole thing, so you can clearly view the result applied.

As you can see, the Marbling Effect produces a far more sophisticated result.
