This photo shows the effect of the Marbling Rake applied from the top to the bottom of the bands of color.

Once you've selected the Marbling Rake, move the cursor to the top of the bands of color, then click and hold the mouse button down as you move the cursor down from top to bottom. The Marbling Rake automatically rakes or blends the bands of color. Simple!

Experiment with the different results you can get by:

  • Changing the colors you used
  • Altering the widths of the color bands
  • Changing the direction you apply the Marbling Rake
  • Applying the Marbling Rake over the same area multiple times
  • Altering the width and strength of the Marbling Rake (in the drop-down boxes above the drawing area). Strength influences how far the color is raked.
