Now that the painting of the faux stained glass is finished, the final step is to add the decorative chain and hang the project up in a sunny window (using a small suction cup), and to enjoy the beautiful color.

If you need to clean it, use a soft cloth dampened with water only. Do not use window cleaner, which will damage the paint.

About the Artist: Jan Easters Cumber is a Georgia-based artist with a background in architecture and the author of several how-to books on painted stained glass. Jan says: “I have always loved crafts, and have a passion for a product called Gallery Glass® Window Color™, a paint medium used to create faux stained glass. Using this I have developed various techniques which I teach in my Artistic Glass Designs Education Program. I run workshops and a ‘mail-in program’ for those living in remote areas or just not wanting to travel to a class. For more details, visit my website www.jancumber.com.
