One of the most important things to remember when painting a zebra is that each zebra's stripes are specific to that zebra, just like a human's fingerprints. So if you're painting a group of zebra, they all need to have different sets of stripes! (There are also three different species of zebra (Plains (Equus burchelli), Grevy's (Equus greyvi), and Mountain (Equus zebra), with variations in where the stripes occur.)
Painting tip: Look closely as how the stripes fall on the body, the directions they go, and how they give form to the body. Don't fall into the trap of using just black and white straight from the tube; you'll need more tones!
