Definition:

A palette knife is a long spatula used for mixing paints. It can be made from plastic, or wood and metal. A palette knife is different in shape to a painting knife in that it usually has a longer blade and is completely straight, or with only a small 'bend' in it. Many people use the term 'palette knife' for both though.
