The Academy of Art University is a private art and design school based in San Francisco, USA. It was established in 1929 by the artist Richard S Stephens. Both on-campus courses and online courses are offered, for under-graduate, graduate, continuing education, and pre-college (high school) students. Subject areas include animation, computer arts, fine art, graphic design, illustration, and photography.
