Abstract Art Painting Ideas: Bougainvillea Leaf in Red

Here an idea generated by a bougainvillea leaf has been implemented using photo editing software. The background has been changed to a single, dark color; the photo cropped so the composition is dominated by the shapes and curves; and the hue changed to reds. (I also did a yellow version; not sure which I prefer.)
