Ghosts of Freedom by Raymond Pahler
September 11th Gallery
© Raymond Pahler, 11 x 17", original print

From the Artist: "This work in poster format depicts the ghostly outline of the twin towers against a New York City skyline at sunset. The twin towers are as grave markers for the many thousands who have lost their lives in this disaster. And yet, in our sorrow, we were galvanized into a new national resolve to protect our freedom and the freedom of people everywhere against the evil of terrorists. And so these ghostly towers not only mark the grave of our many loved ones, but stand to honor freedom and the terrible price sometimes exacted for it."
