From the Artist: The picture I painted in response to September 11th was important therapy for me. We were as shaken by the events, here in distant South Africa, as anyone in Manhattan. I don't usually work in watercolour, but I just grabbed the nearest brush and paints and made this picture in 15 minutes. It's very meaningful to me.
