From the Artist: "Both of these paintings are unfinished, experimental art with no clearly defined meaning."

From the Painting Guide: A bit like Needle Stick you get something of a feel from the person's work from The Buggy Programmer (the artist is computer systems engineer in Honduras); the glum set of the mouth and the intensity of the "programmer's" dilemma with the bug. Even the legs and antenna of the bug mimic a bloodshot eye. There's a faint light on the horizon, which could suggest hope for solving a problem. Or maybe it's the dawning of a new day having spent all night on a problem.

Although A Face? is essentially abstract, it mimics the force of a crudely carved native mask. What it lacks is the immediate symbology of The Buggy Programmer. It's a snapshot allowing a myriad of interpretations rather than telling a story.
