Argent -- silver or white symbolises peace and sincerity.
Gules -- red symbolises military strength, the warrior or martyr, and generosity of spirit.
Azure -- blue symbolises truth and loyalty.
Vert -- green symbolises loyalty in love, joy and hope.
Sable - black symbolises steadfastness or grief.
Purpure -- purple symbolises majesty, sovereignty, and justice (and is rarely used).
