Cleaning a Palette When Plein-Air Painting

A helpful tip to add to your painting knowledge.

By , About.com Guide

Because I enjoy plein air painting and not the clean up, I cover my palette with wax paper and tape it securely on the bottom. This way when I'm finished and ready to load into the car, I can throw it away or place the wadded palette wax paper in a trash bag and avoid both getting paint in my car and the clean up.
