If you're new to glazing and unsure what result a color is going to give you, use sheets of colored cellophane (plastic) for a 'preview' of the result. It comes in various colors, and although it won't be the same blue, red, or yellow as your paint, it will give you a good idea of what'll happen if you glaze with that color.
