Keeping a Bottle of Acrylic Medium Openable

A helpful acrylic painting tip submitted by a fellow artist.

By Marion Boddy-Evans, About.com

Acrylic mediums can harden quickly around bottles and become very difficult to open after this happens. If you rub some petroleum jelly around the lid of the bottle when it's new, you'll find it opens much easier the next time you use it.
