Texture Testing My Patience

Like acrylic paint, the rate at which acrylic texture paste dries depends on the thickness, ambient temperature, and whether there's a draft or not. In the colder weather I'm in right now, thickly applied paste takes hours to dry, and tests my patience. I ought really to have started another painting, and swapped between them. But what I did was to paint between the bits of thicker paste (the blue) and tried out the little sample can of artist's quality spraypaint (the red).
