The art publishers Thames & Hudson have launched an exciting competition celebrating the position of painting in the art world today. It's aimed at emerging artists, and will see 100 featured in a new book to be published in 2014.
It's open internationally, to any artist "who uses paint as their primary medium". No age limit, but there are criteria relating to "professional recognition in the last five years", and an entry fee. Details here...
