

The first submissions for this month's painting project are now in the photo gallery. If you're still uncertain about tackling it, I'm sure these will be inspirational! Both as examples of both the intense and subtle colors opaque pigments can produce.

I have just achieved a new one, more modern, more intense and with more saturated colors in the manner of the two other artists.
Van Gogh said ( more or less ) in front of the painting “Peonies in a vase” of Manet: “Wow, I like how Manet so honestly uses colors without that damned use of glazings!”
I think that the medium gouache would be perfect to use in this project too.
It is impossible to make glazings with it. Why nowadays this medium has been forgotten ?
